Hello,
I'm using Windows 10 Pro in my PC at home.
Recently I had to experience unpleasant issues after Windows 10 Updates provided by Microsoft.
1. About 1 month ago, after minor Windows update, my PC showed black screen unresponsive to any key or mouse inputs during boot.
As there was nothing in the screen but the black blank space on my monitor, there was no other choice for me but 1) to push power button over 5 seconds to force turn-off of the system or 2) to push restart button (on the front case) to boot again. But unfortunately, I had to do 1) and 2) more than several times until the black screen began to flicker slightly.(I saw very subtle flickering becoming more intense as time goes by) After average 15~20 minutes in doing so, my PC managed to turn-on and my monitor began showing what it should have done to me. I had been suffering such situation for more than one month recently and I got so nervous and upset to simply turn-on my PC.
2. The latest update which I installed 1 week ago(maybe on Oct 15, 2017) did not improve such situation and gave me another frustration.
Moreover it seemed to evoke another serious problem on my system. After that update for Windows 10, my wireless internet connection suddenly failed to work although there was no single change in my hardware. I was using a wireless LAN card which used the Broadcom BCM4360 chipset and when I looked into the 'Device manager', I found an 'unrecognized network adapter'. I immediately tried to re-install the driver in the hope it will restore my internet access. But after dozen of uninstallation/re-installation of drivers, I realized that something may have gone too wrong. After I ran the A3000PX-setup.exe, I had to see an error message prompting 'Network adapter driver or hardware failure'. As my BCM4360 wireless LAN card was a brand new one purchased just two months ago, I thought there would be less possibility of sudden hardware failure over software(update) error.
3. So I decided to format my boot drive(SSD) and re-install Windows 10 Pro on it. Today, I downloaded the most recent version of ISO image of Windows 10 Pro using the media creation tool provided by Microsoft. I put that ISO file on a UEFI bootable USB stick and reinstalled Windows 10 Pro on my SSD using it. After completion of Windows 10 installation, I immediately tried to install the driver for BCM4360 wireless LAN card but I had to see the same 'adapter driver or hardware failure' message. I tried clean installation of most recent version of Windows 10 Pro twice and the results were just the same.
4. Finally I tried to restore my system using a DiscImageBackup file which I had made on April 30, 2017, a date far before recent Windows 10 updates.
It took about 30~40 minitues to restore my C: drive to the state on April 30, 2017. After restoration, I experienced kind of screen flickering during boot, which was brief and not repetitive. So I had little if any problem to boot to the system status created on April 30, 2017. After successful boot, I immediately installed the driver for BCM4360 wireless LAN card using an executable file (A3000PX-setup.exe) provide by the manufacturer, and WOW!! I finally saw that the BCM4360 was working just perfect!!
I think this means that recent update for Windows 10 caused the abrupt BCM4360 driver failure.
5. I had to see Windows 10 auto-update has been in progression after restoration of my PC to the date of April 30, 2017. Now it looks like that KB4041676 is the latest update for my Windows 10 Pro. I think I have no option to re-boot to have all of those cumulative updates to take effect. And it would give me a perfect conclusion by observing whether my system prompts network adapter driver failure again or not. If my system prompts 'network adapter driver failure' again after reboot to complete cumulative updates from April 30, 2017 to Oct 21, 2017, then cumulative updates for Windows 10 is the definitive cause of driver failure for BCM4360 wireless LAN card.

I'll post the result sooner or later.
I personally hope Microsoft to take more care in providing updates for Windows.
At least, I hope Microsoft would provide prompt and proper patches for such issues.
It was very unpleasant experience for me and I had to pay hard time to get my system work or at least to find out what was responsible for such a sudden system failure!!
